Walking through Ballyhoura Country offers plenty choice to walking enthusiasts, there are exciting nature walks, river bank walks, quiet country roads, the Ballyhoura Way marked Way, rugged mountains, rich bogs, and mythical landscapes. There are many different walks available throughout Ballyhoura Country including:

Alternatively, you can opt for a guided walk or why not join in with the local Walking Club ‘The Ballyhoura Bears’ a great bunch of expert walkers and mighty talkers with an in-depth knowledge of Ballyhoura Country’s history and culture. A guided walk of the medieval walled town of Kilmallock takes place daily from Monday to Friday at 12 noon starting from Kilmallock Museum.
